Anna Castillo and Luis Tosar were responsible yesterday for announcing the nominees for the Goya Awards 2024. Among them was our colleague Miriam Piquer, nominated in the category of Best Special Effects for her work in “Valle de sombras”. The film, directed by Salvador Calvo, had a total of three nominations for Best Production Direction, Best Makeup and Hairstyling and Best Special Effects.
In the Best Special Effects category, it will compete against “20,000 Species of Bees”, “The Hermitage”, “The Snow Society” and “Tin & Tina”. On February 20, we will know which of the five nominated films will win the statuette.
